Translation and Localization of Rwanda Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Framework into Kinyarwanda

This assignment involved the professional translation and localization of Rwanda’s Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Framework from English into Kinyarwanda to support inclusive stakeholder engagement and community-level climate action implementation. The project focused on ensuring technical accuracy, policy consistency, and cultural relevance of climate and environmental terminology while preserving the original formatting, charts, tables, and institutional presentation standards. The scope of work included document analysis, development of a bilingual climate terminology glossary, full technical translation, expert review and editing, quality assurance verification, and preparation of final deliverables for institutional dissemination and public awareness. The translated document enhanced accessibility of climate policy information for local government institutions, community stakeholders, and Kinyarwanda-speaking audiences across Rwanda.
